Heather graduated from the Chiropody program at The Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences in 2007. Since that time she worked for the Hamilton and Burlington Foot Clinics as well as at her own practise; Halton Chiropody Clinic. Feeling the pull of country living, she decided to move north and opened Valley Orthotics in Barry’s Bay. Searching for a venue equipped to provide for proper instrument handling and sterilization has been a struggle until now. The Eganville Wellness Centre has provided the facility she requires to offer foot care services in addition to orthotic therapy for the community.
